Results for Barton on Sea Golf Club Event

Thanks all for attending the Farnham golf society event at the Barton on Sea golf club on Friday 21st June. Smashing conditions on the interesting golf course led to some great scores.
Congratulations to Nick Kirsopp who won with 38 points with Chris Ungaretti missing out on a tight countback decision. You can see the mughot here. The longest drive comp went to Ian Grout and nearest the pin was won by Darron Clarke. Pink ball went to Chris Hiscock with a miserable 23 points.

Next event this year will be at the Isle of Purbeck Golf Club on Friday 26th July. As ever, please let Nick know if you are unable to play.

Results for Littlehampton Golf Club Event

Thanks all for attending the Farnham golf society event at the Littlehampton golf club on Friday 24th May. Great conditions on the golf course led to some cracking scores.
Congratulations to Spencer Coles who won with 42 points with Nick Kirsopp narrowly missing out on the glory on countback. You can see the mughot here. Doing the double of longest drive and nearest the pin  Kirk Stoll took the glory. Pink ball went to Chris Hiscock with a low for the day 28 points.

Stoneham Golf Club Results

Results for Stoneham Golf Club Event

Thanks all for attending the Farnham golf society event at Stoneham golf club on Friday 30th September. Great weather conditions helped contribute to some fantastic scores.
Congratulations to Alan Robinson who won on countback (from three other players) with a stonking 39 points. You can see the mughot here (along with a few random shots of the day). 2nd place on countback went to Glen Sweet. Longest drive on the 6th hole went to Terry Leader and Kirk Stoll won the nearest the pin on the Par 3 16th. Pink ball also went to Kirk with a mediocre 23 points.

AGM

It was unanimously decided that Sam Thompson would continue as Captain
It was unanimously decided that Gareth Sweet would continue as Treasurer
Alan Robinson was nominated and accepted as Handicap Secretary
Kirk Stoll was nominated and accepted as New member Executive
It was agreed that the prize structure would be changing to an all cash model: £60 1st prize; £30 2nd prize; £10 Longest drive; £10 Nearest the pin
It was agreed that as a society, we would prefer to spend as much money as is financially feasible on paying for courses, rather than spending money on food for the members.

With no other business raised, the meeting was adjourned.

Hayling Golf Club Updates and Results

Results for Hayling Golf Club Event

Thanks all for attending the Farnham golf society event at Hayling golf club on Wednesday 7th September. Again we were extremely lucky with the calm sunny weather, which resulted in some higher than average scores.
Congratulations to Sam Thompson who won with a cracking 39 points. You can see the mughot here. 2nd place on countback went to Gareth Sweet. Longest drive on the 18th hole went to Kirk Stoll and Chris Ungaretti won the nearest the pin on the Par 3 11th. Pink ball went to Gary McClounan with 25 points.
